19 of Medvedev's twenty-one titles have been achieved on hardcourt
A revitalized Medvedev won his initial trophy for over two years with success over Corentin Moutet in the tournament championship match.
Medvedev, a ex- world number one, has had a difficult season, achieving just a single victory at the major tournaments and suffering a setback at the US Open.
His varied form on the ATP Tour - and difficulties with his serving in specific - caused him exiting of the top ten and eventually separating with long-term trainer Gilles Cervara.
Presently training with Johansson and Goetzke, he has consistently improved in the past month - culminating in a hard-fought competitive triumph over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
It is Medvedev's maiden championship following the Italian tournament and initial on a hardcourt after March of that year.
The win also signifies Medvedev has achieved 21 championships at twenty-one various events.
"For the first time I have attended a event with my two daughters together, so to get a title is really nice," said tennis professional Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in dedication of my child her name, because the first title I got when my child my daughter was born was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had failed in his last six finals, including in Halle earlier this year.
His defensive strategy and recurring reactions on the playing surface had prompted commentators to doubt if his capacity to play at the highest level was concluded.
However the player has implemented adjustments in the past month, attempting to come to the net and play aggressively, backed up by an enhanced serve.
The champion recovered from a disadvantage in the opening set against the tricky Moutet, taking 4 of the concluding five points to go ahead.
The competitors exchanged service breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, bidding for his maiden tour championship, gained dominance to create a decider.
Moutet defended four early-game chances in a tight final set before the Russian broke to 15 to secure the win.
Appropriately, the winner earned the title with a point at the net area, with his opponent unable to control a volley after over two and a half hours.
